DMARC

Domain-based Message Authentication, Reporting, and Conformance

protocolsmedium

DMARC builds on SPF and DKIM by letting domain owners tell receivers what to do with messages that fail authentication: monitor, quarantine, or reject. It also provides reports showing who is sending mail claiming to be from the domain. Enforced DMARC policies are one of the most effective defenses against domain spoofing and phishing.
