Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program
A US government program that standardizes security assessment and authorization for cloud services used by federal agencies. Cloud providers get assessed once against NIST-based baselines and can then be reused by many agencies, avoiding duplicate audits. FedRAMP authorization is effectively the ticket for selling cloud services to the US government.
