GCFR certifies the ability to investigate incidents and perform forensics across the three major cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud. It covers cloud log collection and analysis, identity attack investigation, and tracing adversary activity through provider-specific telemetry. The certification responds to the shift of incident response work from on-premises systems to cloud environments.
