MSP

An MSP is a company that remotely manages a customer's IT infrastructure and systems, often including their cloud environments. Small and midsize businesses use MSPs instead of building large internal IT teams. Because MSPs hold privileged access to many customers at once, they have become high-value targets for attackers, as several major supply chain incidents have shown.
