SD-WAN

Software-Defined Wide Area Network

networkmedium

SD-WAN uses software to manage and route traffic across multiple wide-area links, such as broadband, LTE, and MPLS circuits, choosing the best path automatically. It connects branch offices to data centers and cloud services more cheaply and flexibly than traditional WANs. Built-in encryption and centralized policy make it a security architecture decision, not just a networking one.
