TLS

Transport Layer Security

protocolseasy

TLS encrypts data in transit between clients and servers, providing confidentiality, integrity, and server authentication. It is the successor to SSL and secures the web (HTTPS), email, VPNs, and many other services. Modern deployments use TLS 1.2 or 1.3, which removed weak legacy ciphers.
