COPE

COPE is a device model where the company owns and fully manages the hardware but lets employees use it for personal tasks too. Because the organization controls the device, it can enforce encryption, patching, and remote wipe more strictly than under BYOD, without the friction of banning personal use. The tradeoff is higher hardware cost and thornier privacy questions about monitoring personal activity on a corporate device.
