FIRST is the global association that connects computer security incident response teams from government, industry, and academia so they can cooperate across borders during incidents. Because cyber incidents routinely span countries, this trusted network is what makes coordinated response possible. It also maintains widely used standards including CVSS for scoring vulnerabilities, EPSS for predicting exploitation, and TLP for labeling information sharing.
