An ISAC is a sector-specific organization, such as FS-ISAC for financial services, where member companies share threat intelligence and best practices. Because attackers reuse campaigns across an industry, shared warning gives everyone else time to prepare. Threat intel teams use ISAC feeds and alerts to learn about attacks hitting their industry before those attacks reach them.
