NLP

NLP is the field of getting computers to understand and produce human language: parsing, translation, sentiment, summarization, and everything a chatbot does. Modern NLP is dominated by large language models, but the term still covers the wider toolbox. In security it powers phishing detection and log analysis, and on the attacker's side it makes scam messages fluent in any language.
