System for Cross-domain Identity Management
SCIM is a standard REST API and schema for provisioning and deprovisioning user accounts across systems. When an employee joins or leaves, an identity provider can automatically create, update, or disable their accounts in connected applications. It closes the dangerous gap where departed users keep working credentials.
