SDK

An SDK is the bundle a platform hands developers to build against it: libraries, documentation, and sample code. Every SDK an app embeds becomes part of that app, inheriting its permissions and shipping in every install, which is why SDKs are a classic supply-chain risk: one compromised or over-curious SDK, embedded in thousands of apps, has repeatedly turned into an industry-wide incident.
